Below are the memories of those who knew and loved Lewis Griffin.

Rebecca Pauley {3/1/19} -- Love to all of our family and especially to Stephy, Casey, Molly, Hailey, Brandy and Stephanie. Uncle Joe loved you all more than anything. Keep his spirit alive and we will all get through this. Much love. Becky, Dawson and Kaison

Boyd Hatfield {3/2/19} -- YYJoe with me your legacy will live on you always had one of tuffs humble voice that once heard could never be forgetting . My story about joe is all around he was a friend treaded me as family when there wasnt nobody joe would give all his attention knowing now you are going to have to listen to joe and whoo wHeee he had way to make short story turn in a all day event. Dont forget biggest toughest strongest i wouldn't arm wrestle him luv

Russ & Ally Austin {3/3/19} --

Jeremy Fobes {3/4/19} -- Joe was a damn good guy and friend. He loved people to see his "tough" exterior, but every one of his friends and family knew that underneath that, Joe would do anything for you. As his daughter, brandy, pointed out, many of us can still hear him saying, "hey, it's your hero Joe" I cant think of anytime I saw Joe he didnt get a big smile and say that. R.i.p. old friend. The world is a little less bright without you in it.

Deborah Garman {3/4/19} -- Prayers for all the family! Love you all! Joe you were a brat as a kid but grew up good. You loved us all and will be sorely missed. Love you Always!

Robin Judd-Andersen {3/5/19} -- to the Griffin Family I was so shock to see that Joe passed away , floods of little memories come back to Beverly , my thoughts and prayers are with you all I can't imagine losing a sibling , there would be time when I would run into Joe at the store here in Salina and we'd talk for a few minutes , what ever the reason God has choose for Joe he is not suffering , and he is in good hands upstairs with God and your Mom& Dad , love to you all thoughts and prayers be with you all-Robin Judd -Andersen

Terry Shriver {3/5/19} -- Ill always remember you Joe

Kenny Powell {3/7/19} -- My condolences to the Griffin family. We lost touch after high school, but before that he was a good friend to me as well as a mentor on the football field.Rest in peace Joe!

Casey Griffin {3/10/19} -- Dad, you will always be my hero! I love u more than there are stars in the sky... it’s been amazing hearing all the stories and memories you have shared with so many people!! I miss you already... Love you - Casey Jo

Jeff Kurtz {3/10/19} -- I’m guna miss how no matter what you did or who you were with joe didn’t ever judge his love for people was unconditional. (But watch out if u pissed him off! Man lol) I remember one night we were sitting at Casey’s bullshitting and he kept hounding me about buying my 22 rifle.... he kept at it all night “Come on boy just sell it to me”, I kept saying nope it was my first gun but he didn’t quit until about daybreak and finally he said to me atta boy jethro I was testing you n u passed! He was so shocked I kept to my guns, (pun intended) and I’m never forget that cuz I thought he was just annoying the heck outa me but instead he was just trying to teach me a lesson because he had lost some of his guns he had n regreted it.... miss him already but il see you again ol man hopefully not too soon tho lol
