Lora Louise Howg, 58, of Beverly, Kansas died Wednesday, June 22, 2016, at home. She was born April 16, 1958, in Lincoln, to Roland George and Velma Ella (Fischer) Suelter.  Lora was baptized April 27, 1958 by Rev. Walter A Honig at St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Her sponsors were her Aunt Arlene (Fischer) Meyer and cousin Lana Kay (Suelter) Babcock. She was confirmed May 21, 1972, by Rev. Clarence Marquardt at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Lincoln; her confirmation verse was 1 Corinthians 6:20. 

Lora graduated in the Class of 1976 from Lincoln High School, Lincoln. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Lincoln.

Lora married Lowell Gene Howg December 15, 1980, in St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Lincoln. They had one son born in 1985.

She was employed with Century Manufacturing in Lincoln, Ellsworth and then Wichita. Lora enjoyed making plants grow and flourish inside and outside her home. She loved playing outdoors with Ginger and Dee-O-Gee, spending time with friends and wetting the fishing lines.

She was preceded in death by her father, Roland Suelter, and her son, Lucas Howg, both in November of 2000; Lucass father in 2002; and Randall Scott Clay, friend, ten days before Lora's death.

Left to celebrate her life include: her mother, Velma Suelter and bothers, Mikel, Stanley (Mickey) and Roger, all of Lincoln; also many nieces, nephews and cousins, a world of friends and neighbors very dear to Lora, and Randall Clays family.

Visitation: 1-7:00 pm Friday, July 1, 2016, at Hall Chapel. Family present 5-7:00 pm.

Funeral: 10:00 am Saturday, July 2, 2016, at St. Pauls Lutheran Church, Lincoln, with interment following in St Pauls Lutheran Church Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to her church.
